Early work at the Stormont Vail Emporia Clinic in far west Emporia is going soon from ground-level to above-ground.
Clinic Director Kelsey Meyer says work is ahead soon on the foundation.
The clinic space should open to the public by 2028. Meyer says the early progress has been impressive.
As that work continues, Meyer says the clinic is also emphasizing its bilingual services notably for the local Spanish-speaking community.
Stormont Vail has bilingual staff available, as well as interpretation support to help sift through medical information, appointments and additional care needs.
