Court processes have paused in a Lyon County flee and elude case.
Reason being: the defendant, John Crandall, allegedly did not appear for his preliminary hearing as scheduled Wednesday, according to court documents.
Crandall was originally charged with distributing up to 100 grams of methamphetamine, as well as flee and elude, possessing paraphernalia and traffic offenses after an alleged incident June 3. Charging language has been amended twice, and Crandall was set to move forward before a bond revocation motion was filed by prosecutors Monday and then allegedly failed to appear Wednesday. Defense attorney Paul Dean’s motion for a new hearing date was denied.
A bench warrant was issued. Bond has been forfeited.
