The former Interim President of Emporia State University, Dr. Taylor Kriley, has “Departed” the university.
The university confirmed Dr. Kriley’s departure to KVOE News Friday; however, there was no reason was given as to why Kriley left the university, which she led on an interim basis up until this past March.
Dr. Kriley was with ESU from July of 2024 until this month and, aside from serving as Interim President during the transition period between the retirement of Kent Hush and the appointment of Dr. Matthew Baker this past spring, also served as Executive Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Success.
In an email to KVOE Friday, Director of Media Relations and Internal Communication Gwen Larson stated, “Emporia State University does not comment on individual personnel matters involving current or former employees. The university remains focused on supporting its students, employees and continued work of the institution.”
