Emporia High golf finished seventh at the EHS Girls Invitational hosted at the Emporia Municipal Golf Course on Tuesday.
Taylen Koch was the top Lady Spartan in 12th. She shot an 88. Koch thought if she putt better she could of been higher on the leaderboard and improving is a goal this season.
Head coach Caleb Short is happy with the numbers this fall and is looking forward to seeing the team grow.
EHS finished seventh as a team and was 11 shots back of Shawnee Heights for sixth.
The top individual was Peyton Wright from Baldwin at even par. The Bulldogs claimed the team title by 25 strokes.
EHS travels to Salina Central next Tuesday.
