Emporia High volleyball went 1-1 Monday night in Lansing.
The Lady Spartans dropped the opening match to the host Lions in two sets 25-20, 25-15.
The Black and Red rebounded to dispatch Topeka 25-14, 25-15.
EHS moves to 3-4 and will travel to Topeka West on Thursday for three matches.
