Both Emporia State cross country teams ran third Saturday morning at the JK Gold Classic in Wichita, Kan. on Saturday morning. Dylan Hunter led the Hornets in the 6k run with an 11th place finish. The top five spots for the Lady Hornets were all freshmen with Montgomery Morgan leading the way with a 16th place finish. The host Shockers won both events. The Black & Gold return to action on Friday for the Olli Isom Invitational in El Dorado, Kan.
