Lyon County commissioners meet Thursday to discuss budgetary matters, purchases and year-end reports.
The budgetary business involves a public hearing to exceed the Revenue Neutral Rate around 10 am, near the end of the meeting business. Before that, commissioners will consider approving the fiscal 2026 year-end reports for Community Corrections, specifically the Juvenile and Adult Services grants through the Kansas Department of Corrections. Commissioners may also approve a better than $44,000 purchase of casing pipe from Gateway Steel & Pipe Supply at the request of County Engineer Wayne Scritchfield.
There is one executive session planned for confidential third-party data.
The meeting starts at 9 am at the County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
