Court processes are advancing in a Lyon County drug distribution case.
Following a preliminary hearing Monday, Keno Hopkins will now have a pretrial hearing October 13.
Hopkins is charged with distributing between 100 grams and a kilogram of synthetic cannabinoids, specifically K-2 and/or Spice, as well as up to 450 grams of marijuana — both within 1,000 feet of William Allen White Elementary — in mid-June. He’s also accused of DUI, transporting an open container of alcohol and possession of both marijuana and paraphernalia.
