A community festival begins in Cottonwood Falls on Friday.
Chase County Days has numerous activities planned — starting with the traditional Friday Night Music event at Emma Chase Cafe.
On Saturday, a host of activities are on the schedule. Vendors will be set up from 1-5 pm, with a street dance featuring music from Brickhorse from 4-8 pm — moved up an hour due to the chances of showers and storms. Other activities include additional shopping opportunities, tours of the Historic Chase County Courthouse, a pop-up art show and chances to see the Rockne Studebaker at the Chase County Historical Museum & Library.
Rain is likely Sunday, meaning possible schedule adjustments for the planned golf tournament at the Cottonwood Falls Country Club.
Harshman Creek is hosting Chase County Days.
