With the annual fundraising drive underway, this is a busy time for the United Way of the Flint Hills. And this is a busy week.
On Thursday, the United Way has its Pathways to Hope Resource Fair at Grace United Methodist Church. United Way Community Food and Housing Coordinator Jessica Reth says there are several community partners attending.
Reth says this is a good time for a resource fair to connect people with agencies and winter items.
Reth says there is increasing demand for services heading into the early fall.
Pathways to Hope will be from 5-7 pm. Besides a free meal, there will be hygiene kits available, as well as help securing IDs or birth certificates, transportation assistance, veterans services, disability resources and connections to jobs, housing and healthcare.
