With storms in the forecast for Saturday evening, one local event is altering its plans slightly but still moving forward.
The EFOZ Zoo Brew event will be moving inside to the Zoo’s Education Center due to the possibility of showers and storms in the forecast. The event will still run from 5 pm to 8 pm with a meal catered by Gourmet-to-Go and drinks provided by Mulready’s Pub, Radius Brewing Co., the Turquoise Tavern and Grace Hill Winery.
Tickets cost $50, and at last word only 10 were still available, with a 50/50 raffle and live entertainment provided by the Dead City Rockers. All proceeds from the event will go to support the Emporia Friends of the Zoo.
