Plans are developing for a special scholarship program honoring Be The Change’s founder at Emporia High School.
Larry Williams passed away 18 months ago, but not before positively impacting hundreds of students at Emporia High through the mentorship program. Current leader Tagan Trahoon says the goal is to create 2 endowed scholarships through the Emporia Community Foundation.
Be The Change meets weekly and gives students positive messaging, as well as support for students for different situations.
