The Chase County Bulldogs defeated the Lyndon Tigers 30 to 12 on a muddy football field in Lyndon on Friday night.
Austin Anderson lead the Bulldogs with touchdown runs of 29, 51 and 8 yards. Anderson also had 122 yards rushing on 17 carries. Vincent Hodges added 85 yards on the ground and a score. Chase County did attempt a single pass.
Lyndon got both of their touchdowns on pass plays. Cameron Weston hit Joe Biggs from 8 yards in the first quarter. Weston then connected with Gavin McKinnon 8 yards out in the 4th quarter.
Chase County coach Derek Budke was proud his team could win a physical game.
Chase County goes to 3 -1 on the season and 1-0 in district play. While Lyndon falls to 1-3 on the season and 0-1 in district play.
