For the third time this month, Emporia Fire/EMS went to the Emporia State University campus for an elevator entrapment this weekend.
Emporia Fire went to the Towers complex just after 9 am. Two people had to be extricated but were otherwise OK.
Emporia Fire/EMS went to the Towers complex for another entrapment call September 19. Everybody inside that elevator got out safely. Fire crews also went to the Memorial Union on Thursday, but crews were canceled on the way to campus with no other issues reported.
