It’s a double dip of high school football coverage Friday for the Area Game of the Week.
Country 101.7 FM will have the call of Clifton-Clyde at Chase County, with coverage beginning at 6:40 p.m. Mix 104.9 FM will follow with Madison hosting Sedan, with coverage starting at 6:45 p.m.
Chase County and Clifton-Clyde both enter Friday’s matchup with 3-1 records as the Eagles step out of district play.
The Bulldogs picked up a 30-12 win over Lyndon last Friday. Austin Anderson led the way, rushing for 122 yards and three touchdowns.
Clifton-Clyde enters the game after rolling past Herrington 48-0 last week.

Madison will be looking for its fourth straight win when the Bulldogs welcome Sedan to town.
Madison opened District 1 play with a 28-20 overtime victory over Crest last Friday. The Bulldogs remain in district action against the Devils.
Sedan is coming off a 52-6 loss to Flinthills in its district opener.
Madison head coach Nathan Teichgraeber says turnovers and special teams could be key to Friday’s matchup.

Elsewhere Friday, Waverly hosts Burlingame in Lyon County League action.
The Bulldogs have battled back to .500 after winning their last two games. Burlingame is still searching for its first win, with three of the Bearcats’ losses coming by one score.
Burlingame head coach Jeff Slater says those close losses are beginning to take a toll on his team.
Waverly head coach Nick Fraenza has spent extra time preparing his defense for the Burlingame passing attack this week.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Friday in Waverly.
