The Lyon County Highway Department has announced the closure of a local roadway due to flood damage.
The department has closed Road E between Roads 10 and 20. According to Lyon County Engineer Wayne Scritchfield, the closure came as a result of flood damage to a low river crossing in the vicinity.
This is the latest road closure to be announced after anywhere between 1-4 inches of rainfall between Thursday and Friday.
*Road 150 from Road J to Kansas Highway 99; from Road N to Road P
*300 block Road 180
*1700 block Road D
*Road J from Road 140 to Road 150
