Kansas Spanish Speakers is providing the latest opportunity for local voters to meet with candidates in the upcoming general election Wednesday.
Spanish Speakers will be hosting and moderating a candidate listening forum starting at 6:30 pm at the Lee Beran Recreation Center. This will be a non-partisan, free event open to the public.
Unlike other forums, Monday’s event will see candidates rotate among small groups and listen to residents express and discuss their main issues and concerns. Translators will be available for non-English-speaking residents.
Following the evening’s discussions, all candidates will have an opportunity to share what they heard during the event.
