Lyon County Commissioners will consider a previously tabled ordinance and tax abatement resolution during their regular action meeting Thursday morning.
The resolution abating taxes is for a parcel on Road 330 that houses a publicly assessed utility owned by Broadwing Communications. The reason for the abatement is due to the parcel being incorrectly classified back in 2021, leading to the reporting of delinquent taxes that it does not owe due to the classification error.
Commissioners will also consider a policy for animals at large, which commissioners tabled this past week due to the need for additional information. Separate requests to approve the riders information guide and personal manual for Lyon County Area Transportation. One executive session for third-party confidential data is also planned.
The meeting will begin at 9 am inside the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
