A little more than 24 hours after it was issued, the boil water advisory effecting a Coffey County community has been lifted.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment rescinded the advisory affecting Lebo. The advisory was issued Tjursday morning just an hour after the city announced a community-wide water outage as a result of a main break in town.
KDHE says water samples from Lebo sent to the KDHE labs in Topeka came back clear of contamination.
Further details including a repair update on the water main are pending. KVOE News has reached out to the City of Lebo for additional information.
