Residents are being invited to a community discussion centered on data centers taking place late next week.
Director of Lyon County Planning and Zoning Sam Seeley will host the informal, public meeting, which will focus on the facilities themselves and related equipment as the county continues developing zoning regulations for said matters. Topics will include noise and visual setbacks, fire safety standards, water usage concerns and “protecting our rural character.”
The meeting will begin at 6 pm at the Lyon County Courthouse Annex at 402 Commercial Street.
