Monday could see strong to severe thunderstorms develop across the KVOE listening area.
Currently, the entire area is under a slight risk for severe weather, with the highest risk coming along and south of Interstate 70. The main timeframe for storm development will be between the late afternoon and early evening hours.
The main concerns with any storms that develop will be damaging winds, heavy rainfall and the possibility of tornadoes in certain areas. Storm development will follow initial rounds of rainfall from the morning to early afternoon hours following scattered rain showers from over the weekend.
