Lyon County’s official vote audit and canvas will take a bit longer than originally anticipated.
The county’s official audit began Friday as scheduled, however, the county’s official Facebook page stated Friday evening that “due to the size of the results, which we were required to audit due to so many close races this year, the audit will resume Monday.” The official vote canvas was originally slated to take place Monday morning.
However; due to the continuation of the audit, the canvas has been rescheduled to 11 am Thursday inside the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
