Decent rainfall, no flooding.
That’s the upshot from the weekend in the weather department after Lyon County and several surrounding counties were in a flood watch Friday into Sunday. Rain Weekend rain totals so far:
*KVOE studios: 1.9 inches for the weekend
*Emporia Municipal Airport: 1.23 inches
*Ninth and Lawrence: 1.4 inches
*Tenth and Weaver: 1.6 inches
*Allen: 1.75 inches
*Between Hartford and Olpe: 1.85 inches
*Neosho Rapids: 2.4 inches
The first half of the week could see more rain, and folks in Greenwood County are dealing with a dense fog advisory until 9 am Monday.
