Two earthquakes in Wichita shook parts of the KVOE listening area Sunday.
The first of those quakes to jostle area residents happened around 6:30 am. The magnitude 3.5 quake caused weak shaking in Burlington but no reports of injuries or damage.
The strongest quake of the day, a magnitude 4 tremor, was felt in Emporia with reportedly strong shaking in town but no injury or damage reports. That quake happened a bit after 6 pm.
Wichita had six earthquakes Sunday, ranging in magnitude from 1.8 to 4.
