The Emporia State soccer team opened their spring season with a 4-1 win over Central Oklahoma Saturday.
Aislinn Hughes gave the Lady Hornets a 1-0 lead, scoring a goal in the 29th minute of play.
Mackenzie Dimarco scored her first goal of the spring in the 57th minute of play. Liz Palmer gave Emporia State a 3-1 lead.
Mackenzie Dimarco scored on a penalty kick for the final margin of victory.
The Lady Hornet soccer team is scheduled to play at Newman on Friday, March 19th.
