The threat of rainfall largely held off for much of Saturday.
Much of the KVOE listening area got up to an inch Friday, and the forecast called for rain during the daylight hours Saturday. However, that didn’t materialize.
Rain is expected to redevelop late Saturday night and continue at least to Sunday afternoon. The flood watch up since Friday for Lyon, Chase, Coffey, Greenwood and Osage counties remains in place until 1 pm Sunday for the risk of 1-3 more inches of rainfall through Sunday afternoon.
