Emporia States football team holds its first day of spring practices Tuesday.
Coach Garin Higgins says they are looking forward to getting started.
The Hornets have not played a game since the last game of the 2019 season and Coach Higgins says they have a number of players that still need to develop.
The Hornets will be holding 22 practices that will include 2 scrimmages, one with Southeastern Oklahoma State on April 10th. And one with Southwestern Oklahoma State on April 18th.
