The Kansas City Royals rallied for a 4-3 win over the San Diego Padres Sunday.
Kelvin Gutierrez hit a 2 run home run in the top of the 9th for the winning runs.
San Diego hit solo home runs in the 1st and 4th inning, 1 by Eric Hosmer. The Royals Michael A. Taylor hit a solo home run in the 6th inning. San Diego added a run in the 8th to take a 3-1 lead before the Royals scored 3 runs in the 9th. The Royals are 6-2 for the spring. They are scheduled to play Oakland Monday afternoon.
