The Emporia High boys bowling team finished in 5th place at State Thursday afternoon.
Individually Khalil Sanchez had the high series for Emporia High 649 and finished in 11th place.
Chase Swift finished in 19th place with a 618 series.
Kapaun Mt. Carmel won the 5-1A State boys championship.
