Emporia city officials have advised about an upcoming street closure to repair underground infrastructure.
18th just west of the roundabout at Graphic Arts will be closed between 8 am and 5 pm Thursday. Crews will repair a water line that started leaking during extreme cold over two weeks ago.
Public Works Director Dean Grant says roundabout traffic will not be affected. There should be no impact to Emporia High or the Flint Hills Technical College main campus nearby.
