Two Lyon County fire departments are helping to put down a grass fire that has developed in Osage County.
Miller and Reading fire crews went to 253rd and Davis Road, about 25 miles northeast of Emporia and five miles west of Osage City, after fire developed before 10:30 am. Early indications had around 100 acres involved.
Cause and origination point information has not been announced. There is currently no word on whether any structures were involved. No injuries have been reported.
