For the first time in several months, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment has adjusted its travel quarantine list.
Five countries have been added: Mayotte, Czechia, San Marino, Montenegro and Seychelles. KDHE says this involves travel on or after Feb. 26. It says these countries were added to the list because they all have case rates at least three times Kansas numbers.
The last update to the travel quarantine list was Nov. 17.
Besides that quarantine marker, KDHE says people should quarantine if they attend any out-of-state mass gathering of at least 500 people where people do not socially distance and do not wear masks. Cruise ship or river cruise travel has prompted a quarantine request from KDHE since March 15, 2020.
KDHE says the travel quarantine is seven days with a negative test or 10 days with no test.
