Thick fog awaits across the KVOE listening area Saturday morning.
Dense fog advisories have been announced for Lyon and all surrounding counties running through 11 am. Most area counties, including Lyon, were originally set to emerge from an advisory at 10 am.
Visibility has already been under a quarter-mile in and just north of Emporia, and that could well continue through the late morning hours. If you’re driving, slow down, use your low-beam headlights and increase the distance between your vehicle and others nearby.
