The Emporia State volleyball team opened their spring season Sunday.
They were defeated by Fort Hays State 25-18, 25-20 and 25-21.
They were also defeated by Nebraska Kearney 25-8, 25-21 and 25-18.
They are scheduled to host Pittsburg State Thursday and Central Oklahoma Friday.
