The Emporia State women overcame a 13 point first-quarter deficit to outscore Missouri Western 77-68 Saturday.
The Lady Hornets turned it around in the 2nd quarter with a 25-9 run.
Assistant Coach Kiel Unruh says they have to avoid the bad quarters.
Fredricka Sheats led the way with a game-high 21 points and 11 rebounds, her 6th double-double of the season.
Ehlaina Hartman added 20 points.
Tre’Zure Jobe finished with 18 points and Karsen Schultz scored 13 points.
The Emporia State women are now 16-4 for the season. They play at Pittsburg State on Thursday.
