A two-vehicle crash in east Emporia led to apparently minor injuries for at least one of the drivers involved.
The vehicles collided near the intersection of Eighth and Cottonwood shortly before 9 pm. One driver refused treatment afterward. The status of the second driver is awaiting confirmation.
The cause is under investigation. Both streets had large icy patches near the intersection when the crash happened, and the slick conditions are being considered as a potential contributing factor.
