The Jayhawks were led by two players in double figures, including a team-high 14 points from senior Marcus Garrett. Jalen Wilson finished with 11 points.
Kansas State was led by DaJuan Gordon with 12 points.
The Jayhawks host Texas Tech on Saturday.
