Emporia State University is making adjustments for the frigid cold to start the week.
The campus will be closed both Monday and Tuesday. All in-person classes will be canceled and remote classes will be held at instructor discretion. Staff should plan to work remotely if they have that capability.
Students are encouraged to check the university’s Canvas system for the status of individual classes.
This follows the Flint Hills Technical College decision Thursday to close all campus facilities Monday and Tuesday for the same reason. Classes will be held virtually for FHTC students and all employees will work remotely.
Be sure to check the KVOE.com Closings and Cancellations page for updates the next several days. If you have schedule adjustments to report, whether they are closings, cancellations, postponements or delays, call KVOE at 620-342-1400 or email kvoe@kvoe.com.
