The Emporia State School of Nursing is all abuzz with the announcement of its new Master’s Degree program.
School of Nursing Director Linda Adams-Wendling joined KVOE’s Morning Show Wednesday to discuss the new Master’s of Science in Nursing program which she says breaks down into three tracks. Students will be able to pursue either a Master’s of Science in Healthcare Management, Nursing Education or a blended track featuring both focuses.
Adams-Wendling says the need for nurses is great at this time especially within the field of nursing management.
Adams-Wendling went on to say the need for skilled qualified nurses is still great with an ongoing nursing shortage amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
