Downtown Emporia wasn’t the only part of town with water issues Thursday night.
Emporia Fire went to Newman Regional Health to help after a sprinkler line failed in the original building. Emporia Fire Battalion Chief Tony Fuller says there was up to an inch of standing water in an isolated area.
Hospital Facilities Director Harold Blits says there were no issues for patients or hospital staff. Stover Restoration was called to clean up the damage.
