After a small increase in Lyon County’s COVID-19 caseload from Friday to Monday, there was a bigger increase between Monday and Wednesday.
Lyon County Public Health announced 35 new cases, moving the overall total to 3,962 cases since late March. Two people died between the reporting periods, moving that total to 75.
Active cases increased by two and are now at 110. Active hospitalizations are at zero after being at one Monday.
Monday’s increase of three new cases was the smallest Lyon County had seen since Oct. 29. Wednesday’s increase was the biggest since a 42-case increase Jan. 25.
