Light snowfall is serving to slow down area traffic once again.
Flurries before sunrise led to partly to mostly covered arterial streets in Emporia as well as mostly to completely covered residential streets. That snow cover continues despite normal traffic flow after sunrise.
So far, the only reported traffic issue has been below-normal speed. Crews are out spot-treating at this time.
