The Emporia High girls rolled to their 9th win of the season outscoring Highland Park 81-6 Monday.
11 players scored for the Lady Spartans led by Gracie Gilpin with 17 points. Rebecca Snyder added 16 points.
Emporia High Coach Carolyn Dorsey said they were able to work on a few things.
The Lady Spartans are now 9-6 for the season.
Highland Park won the boys game 57-50.
The Spartans led at halftime 24-17 but could not hang onto the lead.
Emporia High Coach Beau Welch was encouraged.
Charles Snyder led the Spartans with 13 points, Chance Gilpin added 12 points and Hunter Hines finished with 11 points.
The Emporia High boys fall to 7-8 for the season.
Both the Emporia High girls and boys go to Manhattan on Friday.
