Light snow for the second straight day has led to isolated travel issues Sunday.
Slideoffs were low in number, but one wreck involved a car at the roundabout connecting US Highway 50 to Interstate 35 and the Kansas Turnpike. A nearby highway directional sign was knocked down as part of another incident.
Flurries have been falling since mid-morning in and around Emporia. Streets are seasonal to covered in Emporia. Area highways, meanwhile, are seasonal to partly covered.
Area residents can expect a dusting of snowfall Sunday on top of the 0.20-1.5 inches of snow from Saturday. Up to an inch of additional snow is possible Monday morning, and light freezing drizzle is now possible south and west of town. Greenwood County is in a winter weather advisory until noon Monday for the prospect of a thin glaze of ice until lunchtime Monday.
