Lyon County commissioners have public health matters ahead for their action meeting Thursday.
Lyon County Health Officer Dr. Ladun Oyenuga and Flint Hills Community Health Center CEO Renee Hively will have an update for county commissioners.
Separately, commissioners may approve road work on Americus Road between Roads 290 and 320. The project through APAC Shears would involve a 1.5-inch overlay and so-called “shoulder wedge” and could cost the county over $650,000.
Commissioner and staff reports, annual township updates and at least four executive sessions are planned.
The meeting starts at 9 am at the County Courthouse and will also be on the county’s Facebook page.
