All the top seeds were winners on day one of the 100th annual Lyon County League Basketball tournament.
In girls play:
Lebo outscored Hartford 51-36.
And Burlingame was a 58-22 winner over Southern Coffey County.
In boys play:
Madison outscored Southern Coffey County 70-20. In that game Madisons Chase Harrison surpassed the 1000 points scored mark in a career.
Lebo was a 55-29 winner over Hartford.
Four more first-round games will be played today at White Auditorium.
At 4 pm Waverly plays Madison.
At 5:30p Burlingame boys play Waverly.
At 7pm Olpe girls play Marais des Cygnes Valley.
At 8:30 Olpe boys play Marais des Cygnes Valley.
