With Kansas shifting into Phase 2 of the coronavirus vaccination plan last week, several area counties have announced their plans to get people lined up for shots.
Chase and Morris counties have been maintaining wait lists and they have announced their priority groups:
*Residents at least 75 years old with underlying health conditions
*Residents at least 75 years old
*Residents at least 65 years old with underlying health conditions
*High-contact critical workers with underlying health conditions
*Residents at least 65 years old
*High-contact critical workers
*Residents under age 65 with underlying health conditions
*Residents under age 65
Osage County says it plans to schedule residents based on its wait list as opposed to any priority groups at this time. Residents who have received a vaccination are asked to call the Health Department to schedule their booster shot.
Coffey and Wabaunsee counties have been maintaining wait lists but have not announced priority groups for the Phase 2 vaccines as of yet.
