Utility and rent assistance is now available for income-eligible residents through the North Central Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging.
The agency announced Thursday that it had received $100,000 in Tennant-Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) grant funds through the Kansas Housing Resources Corporation. The funds are available to low-income Kansas residents living in northcentral Kansas with security and utility deposits including residents of Chase, Morris and Wabaunsee counties within the KVOE listening area.
Applications are now being accepted through Flint Hills Housing Assistance, an agency program, with applications available online at NCFHAAA.com. In a recent news release NCFHAAA Executive Director Julie Govert Walter says “Our Agency is very happy to provide help for utility and security deposits to qualifying Kansans living in the heartland of our state.”
