Lyon County added over 60 new cases and listed one new death in its most recent coronavirus update Wednesday.
Lyon County Public Health says there were 62 new cases since Wednesday, so the overall total is now at 3,727 — about 11 percent of the county’s estimated population of 33,400. The number of deaths is now at 68 with three deaths still awaiting final cause from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
The number of active cases went up from 145 to 154. Active hospitalizations, which had been as high as 11 a week ago, are now at two.
Oasge County added 24 cases between last Thursday and Tuesday, meaning it has 885 cases. Active cases dipped from 63 to 51. The number of deaths remained at eight.
Greenwood and Wabaunsee counties are on schedule to announce updates Wednesday.
