The Emporia State women overcame a 10 point 3rd quarter deficit to outscore Northwest Missouri State 58-51 Tuesday night.
The Lady Hornets trailed for most of the game before they went on a 16-4 run highlighted by Fredricka Sheats 9 straight points to take a 51-49 lead in the 4th quarter.
Tre’Zure Jobe led the Lady Hornets with a game-high 25 points.
Ehlaina Hartman added 12 points.
Coach Toby Wynn hopes they can use this as a confidence builder.
The Lady Hornets are now 6-2 for the season.
Emporia State has added games for Thursday night. They will be hosting Central Oklahoma. The women will tipoff at 5:30p. The men tipoff at 7:30p.
